Designed as a Welsh and English bilingual book, captures the story of the threat of climate change and deforestation. Size of Wales tells the story.
This story explores the power of imagination and success. In 2009, a climate change organisation was established, urging the Welsh nation to take action and protect 2 million hectares of tropical forests. To effectively showcase their projects, the organisation approached Chandler Book Design to create a beautifully illustrated historical book about Size of Wales. The book was designed with environmental sustainability in mind, ensuring it was printed in the UK using 100% post-consumer recycled paper. The board we’ve used for the cover is 100% recycled. The printed paper case on the front cover, and dust jacket were crafted from 100% recycled materials and printed using vegetable-based inks. The inner sections were printed using chemistry-free technology from a certified Carbon Balanced Printer with ISO 14001 and FSC® certification.
